Jeune Marine
JEUNE MARINE is a non-profit organization governed by the French 1901 law, founded at the end of 1944 and officially registered in 1945.
From its inception, its mission has been to bring seafarers together and to maintain strong connections between current and former students of merchant navy schools, regardless of rank or certification. To achieve this, it launched a bulletin that would, over time, evolve into a leading maritime publication.
Driven by the ongoing commitment of volunteers from across the maritime world, Jeune Marine has continuously evolved. From a simple bulletin, it has grown into a respected review, adapting to technological advancements and the expectations of its readership. Its contributors, all active or former seafarers, passionately share their experience and expertise, helping to promote and sustain maritime culture.
Today, Jeune Marine is a key player in the maritime sector. Present at major industry events, it is particularly recognized for:
- the quality of its interviews conducted through the Jeune Marine Studios,
- the organization of engaging industry events,
- the development of its publications through Jeune Marine Editions.
Building on its strong heritage while looking toward the future, the association now works with partners and service providers to support its growth, while remaining true to its core mission: to connect, share, and promote the maritime world.
